Project Description
Denny Blaine Residence
Seattle, WA
A landmark Arts and Crafts residence by architect Sherwood Ford in the early 1920’s, this Seattle home needed some updates for a modern-day family. The extensive renovation includes a new kitchen, family room, and home office as well as a play room in the attic and media room in the basement. The remodel increased the home’s natural light, improved view and sightlines between spaces, and made circulation between rooms more efficient. Highly detailed millwork and refined finishes in the project embrace a contemporary spirit while respecting the original character of the home.
