Union View

Perched on the top floor in the heart of the Seattle waterfront, this penthouse was reimagined as a sophisticated next chapter for a couple transitioning from their family home.  The unit’s original entry was relocated to establish a single, more intuitive arrival, honoring the existing framework while introducing a contemporary sense of flow suited to modern living and flexible use.
A formalized entry sequence guides movement into a reorganized interior that captures sweeping views and thoughtfully separates private and public spaces. The primary suite and office offer quiet retreat, while a dedicated guest suite provides comfort and independence. Thoughtfully upgraded systems like electrical, mechanical, and plumbing, and new finishes, cabinetry, and fixtures with refreshed exterior openings, and reimagined decks strengthen the home’s connection to the revitalized Seattle waterfront while ensuring enduring performance.
The interior palette—detailed wall paneling, soft hardwoods, classic marble, subtle metal accents, and layered fabrics and wall coverings—was chosen for both its immediate beauty and lasting quality. Together, these elements form a modern sanctuary designed with refined comfort, elevated living, and the couple’s evolving needs in mind.
