Medina Garden
Once a cherished family home for generations, this site has been thoughtfully transformed into a timeless colonial that honors its storied past. This new colonial continues to serve as a vessel for family memories and future generations.
The narrow site and substantial retained trees fostered a detached garage solution that also serves as an accessory dwelling unit above. The rigorous architectural symmetry was relaxed to accommodate a private guest suite with walkout terrace and an outdoor fireplace overlooking the front gardens.
Narrow lap white siding, painted reclaimed brick, and dark painted leaded doors and windows serve as the backdrop for lush greenery and vibrant colored flowers. Classic detailing, evident craftsmanship, and quality materials are assembled with advanced building sciences to allow this new old home to endure and perform for another century to come.
