Preston Hollow

The former home of a Dallas philanthropist and oil tycoon was built in 1985 and our clients are the 2nd owners.  This expansive 24,000 square foot home went through 5 additions over the years, leading to an haphazard layout, not suitable for a young family. It is now being reconfigured to delineate entertaining, family, and private zones. Arriving through the front entry guests are greeted with a grand foyer and curved staircase, rebuilt for a code compliant and gracious walking path. Formal entertaining spaces connect off the foyer and comprise the central volume of the home. Mirrored formal dining and living rooms flank the foyer and a central hall is directly beyond dividing the entry from the great den. The great den is a towering two story space filled with walls of bookshelves and culminating in a massive arch window looking over the expansive property.
